Was a very interesting day today. The morning started out with a tour of the Vermeer factory in Pella, Iowa. The Vermeer business stretches out over a mile (called the Vermeer Mile) which includes about seven different manufacturing plants.The complex even includes a medical clinic with doctors, staff and an on site pharmacy.
Very busy place inside the factory. And noisy.
Makes you wonder how they can keep everything as efficient as it is.
The complex also includes a museum which gives you a total history of the Vermeer company.
