In BC, they are denying that there is any form of controversy over who gets to play.  Quarterback Kevin Glenn or Travis Lulay.  Don't believe it.  Lulay thought he should have gotten into the game against the Riders sooner but Mike Benevides didn't accommodate.  Lulay seemed a little less than happy after the game

Will I handle it differently? I don’t think I will. Who am I to be more worried about me and my story than this team? I understand that and our room understands that. I hope that comes across as genuine.”

Travis Lulay – wants his number one quarterbacking situation in BC clarified

And over in Montreal - there is little doubt that Alex Brink is unhappy.  Brink was pulled after the first quarter and told the media it takes more than one quarter for a QB to find his rythmn and Higgins was to quick to have him the hook

I didn’t say much,” “We had a conversation about where we’re at moving forward. I did a lot of listening.”  Alex Brink unhappy about being removed as the Alouettes number one quarterback

No controversy in Saskatchewan.  Tino Sunseri may get the call on Sunday because DD suffered an injury against the Lions.

"He's a true leader, he's the star of our team and I know that I respect him.  Tino Sunseri on possibly being the guy to face Drew Willy. It could be (that matchup), but right now I hope (Durant) is able to play.

“I just wanted to get some kind of assurance that, if we were to express an interest in getting Weston signed, that they were serious about Ottawa as a destination, rather than using our interest as a way to get a better offer out of some other club,” Marcel Desjardins GM RedBlacks on the Weston Dressler sweepstakes

Everybody wants to make that play. That’s the kind of atmosphere Coach (Chris) Jones has created. Our defence wants to score touchdowns, make picks (interceptions), make pitches to each other. It’s just a whole lot of fun.”  JC Sherritt Edmonton Eskimos

It might actually be one of the biggest ever. So it’s going to be really exciting. There’s going to be a lot of media hoopla about it. But at the end of the day, it’s two football teams playing against each other and the results . . . you can’t say anything about it until it’s done.”  Jon Cornish on the Labour Day matchup – Edmonton vs Calgary

"Yeah, we have come a long way. But we also still have a long way to go,  Bombers CEO Wade Miller

“My daughters get whippings & cursed out, too. I live in a black household & our kids don’t listen, so cursing and a**whippings are necessary,” he wrote.  “Yes, I whup my kids’ ass,” he admitted. “You don’t?   Chad Johnson tweeting and upsetting the super sensitive once again
