A dream deferred....out for the year
Kory Sheets dream of playing in the National Football League came to an end with a season ending Achilles injury suffered against the Green Bay Packers. Sheets had a fantastic year leading the Saskatchewan RoughRiders to the Grey Cup. The really sad news was that apparently Sheets had won the favour of the Oakland Raiders coaching staff and was pencilled in to start the season as a kick off returner.Every Rider fan, although disappointed to see Kory go south, understood his dream and wanted him to make it in the National Football League. Hopefully he will recover from this serious injury and still have some football left in his career.
