My source down in Oakland tells me that Sheets has caught the attention of the Raider coaches and the talk is that he will get some valuable playing time tonight. How much no one knows but hopefully Sheets will come up big.
Sheets who led the Saskatchewan RoughRiders to the Grey Championship and was named the games most valuable player came into Oakland's camp finding himself way down on the depth chart for running backs.

Raiders depth chart (Running backs)
1) Maurice Jones-Drew
2) Darren McFadden
3) Latavius Murray
4) Jeremy Stewart
5) Kory Sheets & George Atkinson
I am told that at the very worst Sheets has been the third best running back in camp and if you want to be really generous, Some say very close to being the best.

Maurice Drew-Jones will be number one as the Raiders premier running back. Darren McFadden should be the back up although the knock on him is that he is injury prone.
So who is Lativus Murray, the number three back on the depth chart. Murray is a second season back who had seven carries for 28 yards against Minnesota on Friday night. He also caught two passes for 13 yards.
Jeremy Stewart rated number four on the depth chart dressed for 13 games last year but only had two carries.
So tonight against the Vikings Kory Sheets needs to display some of the form that made him such an outstanding player in the Canadian Football League
