“You mildly state that there is an issue with the reffing and of course you're being politically correct,” one anonymous e-mail began. “But the reality is there is a disturbing trend happening.

“In the last couple weeks the viewership has dropped considerably and I'm sure it's no coincidence ... I sure hope TSN is at peace with the money they gave the league for a sick semblance of a once great game.”   Email from a fan to the Canadian Football league commenting on the CFL officiating

The CFL officiating has been bad this year.  The saddest statement I have heard.  Every time there is a great play, a touchdown run back of a kickoff or whatever the first thing you do is look to see if the refs have thrown a flag.  Most times they have and an electrifying exciting play for the fans and the team and players involved is taken off the board.

"Those are the ones you got to make," said Milo. "I just kind of miss hit it and it sailed right. I kind of made it more interesting than it should have been."  Chris Milo on a missed field goal that went back 123 yards for a touchdown.

You will see a new team,” “We got a lot of leaders in this room. We have no heads down. We have guys that are going to work their butts off this next week.  Brian Buicke – Hamilton TigerCats

“I think it was unlucky that we screwed up so many times,” Honestly, I felt like we played a really good football game with the exception of five or six plays.”

“I might have gone ‘Hmmm’ at first,” he said. “But having gone through training camp, I say ‘Yeahhhh.’ These can guys play.”

He's one of the best, no question. He's a great guy to coach, very talented and accurate.
"He's going to have to continue to play that way for us to be successful."
