NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Christmas came early Saturday for a little boy battling Crohn's disease.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation granted 11-year-old Kamren Heutel's wish of spending the weekend with his favorite team, the Tennessee Titans.

"It's amazing how well he handles everything," said Kamren's mother, Cindy Heutel.  "He had to go through 19 the blood draws, all the pokes and prods, and he doesn't blink."

On Friday, Kamren was taken to the locker room where a personalized jersey was waiting for him.

His idol, wide receiver Marc Mariani, presented Kamren with a helmet and the gloves he wore while playing the New Orleans Saints.

On Saturday, Kamren broke the huddle during the team's practice, warmed up with the team on the field before kickoff, and high-fived the players in the tunnel as they took the field.

"I feel special,' he said

The Titans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 23-17, keeping their playoff hopes alive.

The team travels to Houston to take on the Texans next Sunday, January 1, 2012.
